How do I book a game?
Everything is booked through my StartPlaying profile. Reserve a seat in an open game, or use Private Booking to request a game for your group — online or in person.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is set per game and shown on each StartPlaying listing. Private and in-person bookings are quoted based on group size, length, and location. Payment is handled through StartPlaying.
I’ve never played before. Is that OK?
Absolutely. Players rate my table as beginner friendly. I teach the rules as we go, help build characters, and teach Fantasy Grounds for free.
What do I need for online games?
A computer, a reliable internet connection, and a headset or microphone. Each listing names the platform — usually Fantasy Grounds with Discord for voice — and I’ll help you get set up before your first session.
Can you run a private game for my group?
Yes. Private campaigns and one-shots are available online and in person. Send a Private Booking request with your group size, schedule, and the game you’d like to play.
Do you run in-person games? Where?
Yes — I’m based in Norfolk, Virginia and run in-person games around Hampton Roads. See In-Person Games for details.
Can you run a game for a party or event?
Yes. Birthdays, game nights, team-building, and community events are a great fit for a one-shot adventure. Request a Private Booking with your date and expected headcount.

How do you handle rules questions at the table?
I make a quick ruling to keep the game moving, then follow up with an official ruling that stays consistent for the rest of the campaign.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations and refunds follow StartPlaying’s policies. Let me know as early as you can so the table can plan around it.
Where can I see your past games?
Session reports, recruitment posts, and Fantasy Grounds notes live in the Campaign Log.
